QuickBooks Online is Intuit's cloud accounting product for small businesses, strongest in North America, priced in US dollars per subscription tier with user limits. E-Khata Cloud is a cloud accounting and inventory ERP built for Pakistani businesses, with FBR Digital Invoicing, Tier-1 POS and PRA filing, udhar and cheque lifecycles, committees, production and job work, multi-branch operation, Urdu on every document, offline billing, and PKR pricing with local support. The dollar problem
A subscription priced in US dollars rises every time the rupee falls, and a per-user model punishes the business for adding a cashier. E-Khata is quoted per business in PKR, with every module and every report included, so the price does not change with the exchange rate or with your headcount.
Udhar is not a receivable with a nickname
Credit in Pakistani trade is a running relationship: part payments, discounts on settlement, cheques that bounce and are re-presented, and a customer who pays three old invoices at once. E-Khata's party ledgers, cash counter, cheque register and aging report are built around that. QuickBooks records an invoice and a payment against it.
What QuickBooks does well
QuickBooks Online has excellent bank feeds for North American and some international banks, a large accountant ecosystem, and clean multi-currency invoicing for a services business selling abroad.
