Generate barcodes for products and every variant, lay out the label with the price, the Urdu name and your logo, print a tray of them, and scan them at the counter, the receipt and the count. When a scan hits a code the system has never seen, attach it to the product on the spot.
Barcodes in E-Khata Cloud are generated per product and per variant in the symbology you choose, or captured from the supplier's existing code. The label designer lets you lay out what prints on the sticker, size by size, and the print tray batches labels for a receipt, a shelf or a whole category. Scanning works with any hardware scanner and with the phone camera inside the app, on sales, purchases, transfers and stock counts. A coverage report lists the products that still have no barcode, so the shelf gets fully coded instead of half.

Generate, or capture what the supplier printed
For items without a code, E-Khata generates one in EAN-13, UPC-A, CODE128 or QR, unique across your catalog, for the product and for each of its variants. For items that arrive with a manufacturer's barcode, capture it once and the scan matches from then on. A product can carry several codes, so a supplier change never breaks the counter.

A label designer, not a fixed template
Labels differ by trade: a pharmacy wants the expiry, a garment shop wants the size and the Urdu name, a hardware store wants the price large. The label designer lets you place the barcode, name, variant, price, Urdu text and logo on the sticker size you actually buy, and save designs per use. Print a single label or a tray for a whole receipt.

Scan anywhere, with a scanner or the phone
A hardware scanner types into any product field on invoices, receipts, transfers and counts, and scanner settings handle the idle flush and tab terminator quirks of common models. The camera scanner in the app does the same job on a phone or tablet, which is how a stock count gets done in the aisle rather than at a desk.

Unknown code? Attach it, do not lose the sale
When a scan returns a code the system has never seen, the counter does not stall. An attach-unknown dialog lets the cashier pick the product it belongs to and the code is saved against it, so the next scan matches. Over a week the catalog codes itself from the shelf.
