The document designer in E-Khata Cloud is a drag-and-drop layout editor for every printable document: sales invoice, quotation, order, delivery challan, return, purchase bill, receipt and payment voucher, and more. Each document type has its own templates and a default, a template family applies the same look across A4, A5 and 80mm, fields can be shown in English, Urdu or both, and custom fields you add to a document appear on the print. A design gallery offers ready layouts to start from, and document numbering series are set per type with your own prefix and reset rule.

Drag and drop, on real paper sizes
The designer shows the page at its true size and lets you place text, tables, images, lines and QR codes by dragging. Tables for line items reflow with the document, so a 3-line invoice and a 40-line one both look right. Design once for A4 and apply the family to A5 and 80mm, or tune each size on its own for the counter printer.

Bilingual: English and Urdu on the same page
Pakistani invoices are read by people who prefer different scripts, sometimes at the same counter. Any field can print in English, in Urdu, or as a stacked pair, including the line-item table, which can carry parallel Urdu columns. Product names, party names and terms that you entered in Urdu print in Urdu, in a font that renders correctly.

Custom fields and your own branding
Add the fields your trade needs to any document type: PO number, vehicle number, driver, salesperson, project, batch, delivery slot. They are entered on the document and placed on the print by the designer. Control exactly which of your logo, company name, address, phone, email and tax numbers appear, per document type.

Numbering series you control
Each document type has its own numbering series: a prefix, a starting number, and whether it resets each year. Alongside the real number, a cosmetic display number can count 1, 2, 3 for the counter and reset when you say, without touching the sequence the books use. Numbers are per business, so branches in a group each keep their own series.
