Munafa You Can Trust, Because the Lagat Behind It Is Real

Most shops know what they sold for and guess what it cost. E-Khata works the cost out from the purchases that actually supplied each sale, using the method you choose, and shows the profit by product, by invoice and by customer. When purchase prices arrive late, a recalculation with a preview puts the cost right without hand edits.

Cost & Profit in E-Khata Cloud is the screen where cost of goods sold stops being a guess. The business picks a costing method, FIFO, LIFO or weighted average, and every stock-out is valued from the receipts that supplied it. The screen shows estimated cost per product, gross profit by product, invoice or customer for any period, and two tools that keep the figure honest over time: a recalculation, previewed before it posts, for when purchase costs land after the sale, and a reconciliation that compares stock value in the ledger with stock value in the warehouse.

One costing method, applied to every movement

Choose FIFO, LIFO or weighted average once, for the company. From then on every stock-out, whether a sale, a transfer, a production issue or a write-off, is valued from the receipts that supplied it, and the value moves to cost of goods sold or to the receiving warehouse. The number on the gross profit line is built from those movements, not from a percentage someone typed.

  • FIFO, LIFO or weighted average, per company.
  • Every stock-out valued from real receipts, including transfers and production.
  • Estimated cost per product shown before you sell, so a quote is not priced blind.

Profit by product, by invoice, by customer

The profit view answers the three questions an owner actually asks. Which products make money and which only make turnover. Which invoices were sold below cost, and who approved the discount. Which customers are worth the credit you extend them. Pick the period, pick the grouping, and drill from the figure to the invoices behind it.

  • Group by product, invoice or customer.
  • Any date range, with scope from inception or the current fiscal year.
  • Drill-down to the documents behind any line.

Recalculate when costs arrive late, and preview first

Real businesses record the sale on Monday and the supplier's bill on Thursday, sometimes at a different price. A recalculation re-values the affected movements from the corrected receipts and re-posts the cost entries. It always runs as a preview first, listing every invoice whose cost would change and by how much, so nobody re-states last month's profit by accident.

  • Preview lists every affected document and the change before anything posts.
  • A history of recalculations, each viewable later.
  • Scope a recalculation to the fiscal year or to everything.

Reconcile the ledger to the warehouse, and true up the difference

The reconciliation view sets the inventory value in the general ledger beside the value of what the warehouses hold, by product, and shows where they differ. A true-up posts the difference so the balance sheet matches the shelf, and when a correction displaces earlier costs you choose whether the displaced value stays where it is or moves back to the period it belongs to.

  • Ledger stock value against warehouse stock value, by product.
  • True-ups with a keep or move-back choice for displaced cost.
  • Feeds the Remaining Inventory Value report and the balance sheet.
