The official E-Khata app on Google Play is built for the owner's pocket. Your dashboards travel with you, and BAWA AI, the built-in AI assistant, answers questions from your live books: kitna udhaar hai, how were sales yesterday, which cheques mature today. Ask by text or by voice, in Urdu, Roman Urdu, or English, and approve entries from a confirmation card without opening a laptop.

Entries from the road, not from memory

The oldest leak in Pakistani trade is the recovery collected at a customer's shop and written on a slip that reaches the books two days later, or never. With E-Khata on the salesman's phone, the payment is recorded on the spot, against the right invoice, with the customer's balance updating instantly. Orders, expenses, and stock notes work the same way. What happened outside the shop stops being a rumour.

Nobody wants to type an address on a phone keyboard twice a day. Add E-Khata to your home screen from the browser menu and it opens like any app, full screen, straight to your business. The same account moves between your phone, the counter PC, and the desktop app without any of them falling out of date, because they are all the same live books.

Push notifications, and you decide what makes the phone buzz

An owner wants to hear about a payment received or a cheque bounced, not every stock adjustment. In the app's Settings, Alerts and what buzzes opens four groups: Sales, Purchases, Inventory, and Money and workflow. Switch a whole group on or off, or choose event by event. Your choices follow your account, so they apply on the web too, and tapping a notification opens the record it is about.

A notification centre and a bell on every tab

Every alert also lands in the app's Notifications list, whether the phone buzzed or not. The bell sits at the top of the BAWA AI, Dashboard and Records tabs with an unread count, Mark all read clears it, and tapping an invoice alert opens the bill as a PDF.

Records puts Invoices, Payments, Stock and the Daybook one chip apart. Filters open in a bottom sheet instead of a crowded row: pick a period (today, this week, this month, last month or 90 days), and on Payments choose received, paid or expenses. Tap an invoice to open the PDF as it was issued, send it on WhatsApp or anywhere else, or print it. The Reports side carries the party ledger, simple or detailed, over any date range you pick on a calendar.

Voice notes to BAWA AI, the WhatsApp way

Hold the mic, speak, and let go to send. Slide left to cancel, or slide up to lock and talk hands-free. The note shows its waveform, BAWA AI writes out what it heard under it, and the answer comes back as text you can read at a busy counter. Settings shows how many BAWA AI messages the business has used this month, how many are left and the day the allowance renews.
