Accounting software that knows what a karigar is
A factory's money is on the floor and at the processor's, not in the bank. E-Khata Cloud values work in progress at every stage, tracks the lot you sent to the dyer in the unit it left in, posts the karigar's labour as a payable, and lands the finished unit in stock at what it actually cost. Then it sells it, files it to FBR and reports the margin.
E-Khata Cloud is accounting, inventory and production software for Pakistani manufacturers. It records recipes, process stages, batches, job work sent out and inward job work on customers' material as documents in the same books as purchases, sales, stock and FBR Digital Invoicing, so the cost of a finished unit is worked out from what really went into it and gross profit on the sales report is real.
Production that matches your floor
Define recipes and stages once. Start a run and the recipe explodes into the material to issue. Move batches through stages on a board that shows what is where. Send material to a processor and the lot is tracked on their own account warehouse, in the unit it was issued in, so a kilo out and a metre back never invents stock value. When goods return, the processor's charge posts as a payable and the finished unit carries its true cost.
- Recipes with scaling and fixed-rate scrap.
- Stage master and a batch board with two-way trace.
- Processor lots that cannot go negative; settle a lot that never returns.
- Inward job work on a customer's material, costed and billed.
Cost that flows into the margin
Choose FIFO, LIFO or weighted average and every stock-out is valued from real receipts. Finished goods arrive at input cost plus labour and allocated overhead. The Cost & Profit screen shows profit by product, invoice and customer, with a recalculation you preview when supplier bills land late, and a reconciliation that ties ledger stock value to the warehouse.
- Work in Progress by Stage, Yield by Product, Material at Processors, Job Work Cost by Processor.
- Profit by product, invoice and customer.
- Remaining Inventory Value feeding the balance sheet.
Sales, tax and the rest of the business
The finished goods sell through the same sales module every trader uses: quotations, orders, delivery challans, invoices with HS codes and FBR units, filing to FBR through a review queue, returns as credit notes, and the Annexure-C register at month end. Serialised output carries serials and warranty. Branches and depots run as real businesses under head office.
- FBR Digital Invoicing with HS codes on every finished product.
- Serial and warranty tracking for serialised output.
- Multi-branch depots with transfers in transit and settlements.
A real factory on it
Oxford, a home appliance manufacturer, moved from a foggy factory floor to a system that knows every part, every stage and every batch. The case study describes what they were doing before, what was built, and what changed.
